It is possible to downgrade a 360, there are two methods. One using Infectus and a 120 GB hard drive, and another more technical method.

800?? how could I not jump on a launch box that never been on live.. A console that has never had a network cable attached to it...check out ebay and craigslist and see if you can find one for less??It don't really matter if it's been on live or not. You can only use it with the oldest games. I know like 10 people that never been on live and never updated their 360 there, however they still have one of the latest firmwares and dashboards. With the GTA IV we will all get the latest updates and who could resist that game just to have a unupdated 360?

So microsoft are smarter then Bill Gates looks, so I don't think we have so meny unupdated 360's outhere.

Is it even possible to downgrade the new 360's? The ones with HDMI and new CPU? They come with a new Firmware and dashboard out of the box. If I would find the CPU Key with the help of a Infectus v2 and Infectus Timing Attack PCB Add-on, is it then possible to downgrade to a early Firmware and dashboard??

About downgrading the new 360's, I think it may be possible but you would have to modify the instructions. Since the CPU and motherboard are probably preflashed with the memory keying to the newer firmwares, you would probably have to insert or spoof the motherboard into thinking it is an older version with an older native firmware/dashboard version. Sounds like a good summer project :p

use your head if someone spends money to buy an unupdated xbox they obviously have 2 or more xboxs! so if they wanted to play gta online thats what the updated console is for... gamesaving hacking is what the unupdated is for. Im not saying its worth it to me, but if you have $1000 to burn its your pocket have fun. also your friends with the latest firmware have newer xboxs that were shipped that way. launch consoles that have never been on live are rare so the cost alot.

ha i have all those saves. are your saves taken from 360gs and are blacklisted?

There is a working save for PDZ + EDF im sure of it.
