Ok, I've read a lot of stuff about this guy, from "he ships chips fast" to "he raped my grandma and stole my wii". I just bought a presoldered argon w/ wii clip and a programmer from him and I'll pro/con out my experience.

First, he's located in the UK and i'm in america...so yeah, I'm not him. If a mod wants to ping my account and put what state i live in, more power to him/her.

Pros
Very good communication. He emailed me every step of the way to let me know the progress, even updated my my argon to 1.8.

Fast shipping. I pre ordered and my chip showed up in america before he thought he was even going to get his shipment of wii clips in.

Product worked. The soldering looked good and it worked. What else could you ask for?

No flat cable. When mxconsoles found out i was missing my flat cable, they got my address and will ship me one out. Good customer service

Cons
Poor packaging. He seriously just put my chips in an envelope inside another envelope. I understand that it was cheapest, but come on... What are the chances that it wouldn't get broken? I think i lucked out on this one.

Wii Clip is a pain. Not his fault. I wanted a wii clip because i didn't want to ship out my wii and i want to be able to take it off and send the wii back in when the laser burn out :-) Having said that, it was a pain to install. I clipped it on and fired up my wii and it read my burned zelda wonderfully, and then i started to put it back together and turned the wii on at every step. The chip stopped working when pressure was applied to it from the metal below it (not a short, i used the cardboard). It took opening and closing the wii three times before it worked...but the bottom line is that it worked, and still works.

Overall it was a good modding experience and i would buy from him again.

I emailed my address. Thanks for the update. mxconsoles seems to be a good supplier to me. There was a (small) problem and he's doing what it takes to fix it. I would definately buy from him again.

hi im new on here i was just looking for some reviews about mxconsoles & came across this forum. I pre-ordered a wii clip pre soldered with the d2cpro,
i received the clip (about 2weeks after it said they would be in stock) & installed it the same day but the clip did not work so i played about with it (took it out & put it in around a dozen times & still didnt work). I returned it to mxconsoles for a replacement last week be the replacement still hasnt arrived & when or if it does i will post again here. Personally i think them are dead on to use & with all the pre orders its no wonder they are falling behide so i think people just need to bide there time for now & like i said i will post when i get the replacement to let everyknow how it goes. I forgot to add about it wouldnt cost very much more for them to use jiffy bags instead of posting in a envelope just, this is the only thing that would put me of ordering from them again

I just wanted to update this, i received my cable from mxconsoles. Everything went well and he even stepped up his game and shipped it in a bubble envelope. I would recommend him to anyone. Thanks mxconsoles!
