I sent my Wii and money to Matt Delorey (Wii Modder) to have him mod my Wii. He stole my money and my Wii. Here is what he has to say in his PM to me once I asked him to return my money after 4 months. Do Not Send Him Anything!

Maybe I didn't make myself clear, I sent him my Wii 4 months ago, he didn't belong to this forum till a few weeks ago, he was on thegameforum and had a very good rep over there. Untill he went into the hosptial for about a month and everyone started to worry. Now he is back and he has been banned from the gameforum due to the fact that he is not paying people back. He left and came straight over here. I am not complaining to the members of this board saying that I want my money back. I am just trying to let everyone know that Wii Modder can not be trusted and hopefully no one will send him their Wii or any Money for any services that he provides.

None of the ips are the same from the different users. I want a seperate buy/sell/trade forum but it's not my call and I have no power to do it. this is what this forum is missing, don't know why they don't want the hassle of a buy/sell/trade forum ,this helps people decide if they are good or bad ,by leaving appropriate feedback for the modder after they receive there wiis back,

they use the buy/sell/trade forum on blackcats ,brilliant forum for people unsure who to send to.they just check the modders feedback .
you can get some good bargains in the buy/sell/trade too.

Sorry to have to tell ya this, but you wont receive it. Matt is a liar, a thief and one hell of a scammer. I would encourage the mods on this forum to seriously consider deleting off his accout as he will keep stealing from people who think they can trust him.

I had an IM conversation with Matt yesterday and he swore up and down to me that he was not on this forum, he claims someone else is on this forum pretending to be him. HAHA Stupid Matt... you shouldn't give out your address to people on this forum and think that other people won't talk. It is in fact Matt Delorey who is Wii Modder on this forum and he will take your money. BE VERY CAREFUL when talking with him, better yet, DON'T TALK TO HIM!

A little proof that Wii Modder is a scammer

This is from my conversation with him last night. I waited to post this because I wanted to get proof that he was actually the Matt on this forum as he says he is not. I asked a memeber on this forum (Gookie) for the address that he sent his Wii too... Turns out it is Matt's address and the only contact Gookie has had with Matt Delorey (Wii Modder) was on this forum. He is the copy and paste of our convo where he is trying to tell me it is not him on this forum.

This thread sure is entertaining. I'm having a semi-bad experience with a modder I sent my Wii too. But I finally got a UPS tracking number a few days ago and my Wii should be back safe and sound soon hopefully. I wrote the serial number down just in case to make sure I got my Wii back but I've heard of people swapping drives out. No way of telling if he swapped my D2A with a D2C or something else unless I open it up.

It's not that some people may not be able to do it but it's the ethics of it. People who find exploits and bugs rarely use it to there advantage. They use it tighten the security of the OS. Many times sending the bug report to the company (i.e. M$) or issuing a patch to fix the issue (on Open Source software)...

We just recently got a control panel so we can edit user's info if need be and ban people. However we cannot ban ips so all we can do is remove a user, there's nothing stopping them from just making a new name and starting over. Being able to ban by ip would help A TON but I don't think it's going to happen. I have been pushing for a seperate b/s/t forum for about a year and I honestly don't think its gonna happen no matter how much I or anyone else wants it. You also gotta realize we aren't employed by the site, we're just users who actually care about the site and offered our services to moderate it, we do it in our spare time so it's not going to ever be perfect. It's hard for us or anyone for that matter to see whats going on with every user all the time, we just do what we can when we can. I know your not trying to bring me down or anything, but your not telling me anything I don't know, if it were all up to me I'd have a b/s/t forum with a seperate forum for installers so you know who's a scam and who isn't, etc, but like I said its not up to me.

One way to prove that your not him would be to have someone who has used your service explain where they took their wii too.

I can say I live somewhere on the west coast in Canada. As I said before, I do not offer any sort of modding service online. You wont see me posting "send me your Wii".

The only way i found out there was another wiimodder is i had somebody PM me thinking i was him.

I tried telling people there about him scamming people by got banned by the moderator...

And it just so happens that the moderator was also a registered user at the GameForum where Wii Modder scammed me for $150. He was telling people to send there wiis to him to have a chipped.

I guess now they are in cahoots at NextGenboards...............
