Since I got so many pm's about this here's a thread on how to do it.


Its really simple all u do is extract the iso and dummy the voice files from this folder....PSP_GAME\USRDIR\dat

b.v, s.v & fc.v <-----files to delete.

To dummy the files just rightclick and make a new text file and name it the same as 1 of those above(after u delete them of course, afterwards u should have 3 files that folder w/ 0 bytes as the size.


Then when playing the game press triangle to get the main menu then at the top right should be the system menu.....just find the option for voices to be on or off(u gotta play w/ it if u cant read jap...its towards the bottom), turn them off and u got yaself a TOE rip.

is there a full english patch out for this? I have the one that is like 70percent.

the rip always crashes on me when im camping for the 2nd time. Since i dont have a 1gb stick i cant go past this and save and see if it works. Im gonna wait for the eu release which is out b4 christmas.

this doesnt even fit on my 256ms its 247mb and my MS has only 237 when formatted.

what settings are you running this on cuz mine keeps freezing at the namco startup screen.

Easy way to turn off voices. Go to customize on the main menu, go to the 5th option and just turn off voice volume.

Sorry guys I didnt mean to mislead u but this doesnt fit on a 256 card only a 512 as the rip is exactly 256mb. And for those that say their screen freezes, from what I understand it depends on your original version....if u were able to apply the english patch and play fine then this will work.....I just redid my original tales and used this process and started a new game fine so I'm not sure why it doesnt work for yall.

Make sure u replace the files u delete with dummys.....I just made a rip and just deleted those files and my game freezes.

hi, ive the tales of eternia from pesadilla (espalpsp) already patched in englis, uncompressed its some of 840 mb....but i'd like to fit into a 512mb ms. Id like to rip only the sound and remains the movie....Its possible someone to help me? In other....i saw that someone has problems freezing at namco screens and in other part of the game...what is it?thanks
