A new Region Free loader for the Wii

Brakken brings news about a new region-free loader.
Looks like Datel's Freeloader is now obsolete!

TehSkeen would like to present to you an exclusive release from Nuke the creator of the USB Gecko. Gecko Region Free is a stand alone ELF file that allows you to boot import games on your Nintendo Wii. Don't let the name fool you. You do not need a USB Gecko to run this. Run it the normal ways and enjoy your import games without having to purchase Datel's Freeloader.

it hasn't been tested properly yet, people are experiencing problems with backups already ,i wouldn't bin your freeloader yet.

sounds promising. as someone who lives in japan yet owns a NTSC-U wii, being able to play other region games without modding my wii would be great! hope this project comes to fruition.
