what version of mechassault for sid4?

I am going to softmod my xbox which I've done before with some borrowed supplies and I dont have the mechassault game anymore and I was just wondering if any version of mechassault (not platinum hits) works.

finally 2 months later.....

I might get the game today if I have time and then I just have to format my ipod to fatx.


edit: store only had platinum hits edition. what happens if you use the wrong version anyways???

nothing because it wont work...try to buy it used (non-platinum) or off e-bay...or why dont you do the hotswap method??

I've done the hotswap method before, but now I cant get it to work.

actually I put a ready made softmod hardrive iso on the hdd. It had a bunch of exploits, but I didn't have any of the games. later I was playing a game and ejected it and there came up the sid screen, but it installed in pal and the screen was all shakey.

anyways, I went to a pawn shop and found the correct copy of mechassault and I need to get the ntsc game exploit on my xbox, I have a usb to xbox adapter, so It shouldn't be that hard.
