Ok, I tried installling the Phoenix BIOS Loader and ran into some problems. I'll explain what I did.
______________________________________________

Installing With Fonts Folder:

1. Inside the fonts folder under the C Drive, I renamed Xbox.xtf to XBox.xft and Xbox Book.xtf to XBox Book.xft.

2. Then I copied Bert and Ernie to the Fonts Folder.

3. Then I copied the Complete Phoenix Bios Loader to Drive C

4. Copied Xboxdash.xbe to my HD's C drive and edited it correctly. Then I copied it to my XBox's HD E Drive.

5. Made correct changes to Evox.ini and copied it to the C Drive of my Xbox.

6. Shut everything down and connected my XBox HD back to my Xbox.

7. Turn on my XBox and was greeted with "Error Code 13' Screen.

NOTE: Files copied from Complete Signed Phoenix BIOS loader are as followed.
boot.cfg, default.xbe, Phoenix.raw, default.elf, escape.S, header.S, header.S.bak, import.tbl, ldscript.ld, Image, and Makefile.

Installing WITHOUT Fons Folder:

Installed it the exact same way except I didn't touch the Fonts Folder and this time It booted to MS Dash.

So What am I doing Wrong!?

Error 13 is an error caused bya problem loading the dashboard. This could be a number of things like a missing or incorrect RC4 key or eeprom.

I will say right now that your problem is a rsult of an incomplete Signed Phoenix Loader package.

Head over to the Phoenix Loader Install Tutorial (http://www.maxconsole.com/?mode=tutorials&feed=xbox&itemid=87) and get the files listed there.

I have NEVER seen this make any difference but to anyone that does try this let me just highlight that you are NOT replacing the xboxdash.xbe file. You MUST rename the edited xboxdash.xbe file to something like hackedmsdash.xbe (or anything unique to the directory) and then tell evox.ini to look for c:\hackedmsdash.xbe.

The xboxdash hacked or not will always look to the DEFAULT directory for the font files (and others) so it will not make a difference really.
