View Full Version : Why is Mario Kart available in 2 different sizes.

After being really happy with my Wii, I moved to the Dark Side and bought a PS3 :(

Ever since then, I havn't even touched the Wii and certainly havn't got any new games.

Obviously Mario Kart is not to be missed, so I set out to find it.. But I found that there are 2 versions going around.. One is 2.9GB, the other 4GB.

I have been out of touch for some months, so I don't know if this might be because someone has found out how to 'rip' or 'compress' the image..

Are they the same? Or should I go for the 4GB version?

Go with the one closest to DVD size.....so 4GB.

one of them are scrubbed i think, so it's the same.

hm.....i have a similar question....

i just downloaded a "deca sporta" .rar file, where the .rar was only 312mb, but when extracted is 4.37gb....
also, the WiU1.1 recognises it.......will it work okay with free loader if a burn it??? (pal wii)

I was so exited about getting a PS3 until my brother bought one and I had a go, to me the graphics were exactly the same as the Xbox 360 and the 360 can do LOADS more stuff. I thought everything with the PS3 was a FAF ON!

I'll just stick with my 360 and my Wii Thanks :D

ofcourse the graphics are the same! the only difference is the games! Just wait for metal gear & final fantasy ;) For me, the ps3 is the future, not the present.. right now there are no games that aren't on the 360 that i'm interested in :/ but lots upcoming!

Cheers All... I know the PS3 isn't an awful lot different than the 360.. But I bought it for one reason.. Call Of Duty and Online (OK, thats 2 reasons, but its esentally the same reason)

Since my 360 is 'chipped' I can't go online unless I want to be blacklisted.. And even if I could, I have to buy a Wireless bridge (or run some cable) And pay for Xbox live.. I just figured that I could buy a PS3 and just buy the occasional 'premium' game...

And to be honest, I don't regret it for a second.. Been playing COD for over 100 hours in total, which is the probably the best value game I have ever had.

I still havn't given up on the Wii.. But at the moment, the PS3 (specifically COD) takes up all my time!
