Or should I just use the zelda hack? I really want to play homebrew on the wii without having to go through the zelda hack everytime, would a mod chip make this easier, say with custom firmware like on the xbox? ps.I don't want one just for backups, actually I'd rather there be a chip that only allowed homebrew -backups.

With any Wii Mod-Chip, your ability is pretty much unlimited, but as for homebrew, it will support that. The only thing is trying to find a professional installer, lucky for you I was roaming these forums and came across your post, if you want a professionals opinion, your best bet is to have one installed, that way you won't have to worry about stupid zelda hacks, just get it over and done with that way if you ever have kids that decide they wanna dl games or back them up to save there originals, they will already have that ability with no need of worrying about installing one. If you are in need of installation or repair services, I provide reasonable costs and the quickest turnaround time you can imagine. Please PM for more details.
