you can SPG to another account if your logged in. But if you download from another account to your HDD it will only work as a trial version.

so like i can get, let's say, the new cod4 maps for free if my friend has them?

Im not sure about the maps to be honest because I know the Halo 3 maps were profile locked and im not sure if anyone cracked them

wont work.. simple as. when you download something to the xbox for the first time anyone on that xbox should be able to use it, i think it sends your console id to microsoft servers and signs the game you are downloading with it, this may have changed since i last checked as my bro used to buy things on my xbox and i used to buy things on his xbox so that i could play his games and he could play my games without having to sign into xbl with the owners account.

so, basically, what i mean is if you have downloaded something on your xbox and you wanted to play it on your friends xbox you would have to re-download it on his/her box. Then the owner would have to sign in 1,2,3,4 player it doesnt matter as long as the owner is signed in he/she can play on the stuff you have purchased. Or buy it on his xbox so that he can play it anytime but you would have to sign into live if you wanted to play it on your xbox.
