Help installing d2pro

i have a us ntsc wii d2c using underside of board (no leg) method.

trying to install the chip aint working yet.

i've connected 15 wires, dont plan on connecting the extra 4.
do i need to close the jumper on the d2pro chip?

tried wii sports original and get the error "eject disk..." but if i disconnect power and ground wires (turn the chip off) it reads the disk fine.
seeing that the original works with two wires disconnected, does this rule out bridging between points?

Pretty good chance you didn't bridge anything but I wouldn't completely rule it out. The biggest question would then be did you connect the points correctly?

Since you use the no leg installed method then take a multi-meter to the legs and the chip and check for connectivity between the points. Make sure your install is correct.

those were my concerns exactly but it turns out it was a wire that came loose. tested a burt copy and original both work which is good. just hope there aint any issues cause i left the jumpers open
