1.9s 3.2e wiikey pal

hi there i got the pal version of mario kart for my pal wii which has wiikey installed i was running 3.1e and 1.9b wiikey but decided to update everything before i tried my mario kart game so i got the new firmware for my wii which is now on 3.2e and grabbed the 1.9s wiikey update burned and installed that to my wii so next i got my mario kart disc( which is pal ) and loaded it up it asked me to update so i have done that and the game runs fine , im worried that i may have done something to wii because i have updated with the game mario kart as i see alot of people saying to patch it and use region free etc .........so my question is ........

having updated with the disc mario kart have i inturn damaged my wii in any way shape or form or should it be ok ? was i ok to go ahead and do that, i mean i installed 3.2e and 1.9s and yet stil it asks me to updated when i load the game , so what next? will it be fine ?

On a pal wii ALL pal games are 100% fine to update from.
Region free is only for ntsc games for you

A pal game update on a pal wii should be fine to update. People are blocking the updates as they have ntsc consoles

My wii didn't even update to use Mario Kart.

It just ran no probs and no fuss.

i've updated my pal wii with ntsc updates many times with metroid, smg, ssbb and all still works fine. all i got was duplicate channels but you can get rid of them now.

not always the case though. older games FULLY BRICKED the wii (ntsc update on pal and vice versa) so don't tell people to "just update"

perhaps but nearly all the new games with updates wont brick anymore. plus if your still worried get the wiikey config disc and block them (wiikey only)
