A few quick questions

I have recently bought a HDD for my Xbox 360 and I have all of the necessary cables to connect it to my PC.

I was just wanting to ask a few questions:

1.) How safe is it to add game saves to your HDD and load them in your profile. I read something abit ago about catching cheaters and resetting their gamerscore - has this happened to anyone here yet?

2.) Do I need any specific software to do this?

3.) I have about 400G off COD4, if I use a savegame to considerably increase this amount - do you think Microsoft will notice?

The will not notice if you unlock the gamerscore in the correct order. And they most likely will look at people with massive gamerscore eg 100,000+
