Wii part needed

my wii started to spit disks in and out i opened it up and discovered that part of the mechanism on the metal back plate was damaged it seems this is the mechanism that puts the disc in place and clicks the laser into action,
i was wondering if anyone had any ideas where i could get one
or even if someone in uk can fix this for me

You'll probably have to buy another drive

Search ebay there are plenty of replacments out there now

Saying that you may bet lucky with someone who's got a dead drive from a botched instal

i was thinking that too but was hoping maybe someone on here had one, i also emailed nintendo asking about spares but i wont hold my breath :(

Don't think nintendo will release any spares at the moment as they are still struggling in some places to fill demand for the machines

So need all the parts they can get

i saw this thing on a lot of sites, it shouldn't be hard to replace it
