M3 SD or CF

kinda new to the rom scene but i have modded many of other systems in the past so this should be eas once i get going. First Question whats the difference between the M3 SD (Secure Digital) and the CF (Compact Flash) ... is CF more a flash cart and SD is that a card which u can buy upto gigs apon gigs.... anyways any help would be great ..... all which would be the better 1 to buy for a intermed modder.

CF means Compact Flash.

CF Adapter is out now.
SD Adapter should be out in mid-october.

So which one would be better to get...... the CF or the SD ..... is SD faster than the CF
