Game saves tutorial and updates tools required

can someone please provide links or write a tutorial or noobz guide for getting game saves, resigning them, the tools required (attached to thread) and the hardware - maybe it will get stickied:rolleyes:

firstly you need a resigner, which is only on 360gs so ive been told. and you need a id splitter/merger tool

i've seen that video a dozen times and it is the worst tutorial - there isnt even any explainations - he might as well check his email!
