My 1GB Stick finally came today.. now my 1.52 psp is suited and booted with 1.50.. its time to play..

but im stick :(

I converted gone in 60 secs with PSP Video 9, to a 700mb+ file. I've copied it over to my PSP as follows:

G:\PSP\MP_ROOT\100ANV01\
MAQ10001.THM
MAQ10002.MP4
MAQ10002.THM

how do i get it to play now? - the PSP says there is no video files when i goto "video" on the main menu.. ?

looking at your filename i'm assuming you encoded it in AVC (h.264)

AVC is only compatible with firmware vers. 2.00+

if you dont want to upgrade though... you can always convert it to normal MP4
which is usually something like M4Vxxxxx.mp4

G:\PSP\MP_ROOT\100ANV01\

Beside the encoding format, you have to put your videos in:
G:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01\

actually the folder 100ANV01 is correct because thats the folder for AVC-encoded movies (files with MAQxxxxx.mp4)
