i have around 6-7 stuck pixels on my 1.50us psp...
plus a few days back, a speck of dust entered the cover (dunno how) and its right in the middle of the screen which is very annoying...
i was gonna open up my psp tomorrow and was thinking about this:
ive read in "Upgrading & Repairing PCs 16th Edition" that sometimes, tapping on the lcd where there are dead pixels, sometimes fixes them...
is this true ? or am i much safer with the dead pixels themselves instead of a broken lcd ?
and how the hell does dust get inside the psp ?

true only sometimes tho depends on the the extent of how dead it is and how does dust get in i can answer that simply foam gasket goes rond the edge of the lcd and i held by pressure of the screws nd the case itself when this gasket loses its tack that its held on by the air tight seal is broken and dust can enter.

so you mean to say that once i open it, will i have to clean it all the time because dust will keep on entering ?

if there is dust lready in the seal is lredy broke simply use double sided tape around the rim of the lcd and make sure to open it and close it in a dust free enviroment or as damn near as.
use a can of compressed tinned air to remove the dust dont use wipes or anything it will smear and be visable from the outside and cloths will just leave fibre behind, the best way to remove dust is just blast it with air and quickly reasemble to remake the air tight seal if you follow the above you should be dust free for good.

thing is, when you blast it with air from the room, the room also has dust in it. I don't have a solution lol just thats what happened when i did it
