View Full Version : Activision announces Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition

Activision has announced Call of Duty 4: Game of the Year Edition, which will be released in April. The special edition will include a token for Xbox Live which will allow gamers to download the upcoming map pack (which is coming April for 800 MS points).

The new game will feature the full COD4 game, as well as a token for use on Xbox Live, which will allow gamers to download the upcoming map pack.

Yes and no.

If it will not come to the PC, people will custom make the maps ;)

cool for those who dont own the game yet.i already got it on ps3 and xbox360 so if they think i am buying it again for a mainjy coupon they can shove it.

i will buy the dlc off psn if it is worth it.

buy a £35 game or whatever just for dlc or spend equivelant of £7 or whatever just for the dlc.i would rather buy the dlc of psn.

wasn't Bioshock unanimously game of the year?

EDIT: oh nvm, bioshock was probably the year before, even though COD4 also came out in 2007

No, many publications had Bioshock as GotY, ahead of CoD4. However, to release a GotY version you don't have to garner any more than one award, and CoD4 certainly did more than that.

Downloadable maps for any games should only be about 300 points.

My question is this is the first reveal of the price to me. Is 800 ms points $8?
