I've heard a rumour that Nintendo DS (Electric Blue) doesn't work with neokey. Is this true newer models have built in protection?

It is true that newer DSes cannot use the passme. I know this because I recently brought a teal coloured DS and it does not work with the passme :(

How do you tell if a NDS you buy toady is going to work with passme? :)

I'd have no idea mate. I only brought the Teal Coloured one because no one mentioned that the passme didn't work with that model, only that it didn't work with the Red DS and IQUE Ds :(

I have the Electric Blue DS and I just got the Passkey with G6 2GB cart. Works fine. (I know you asked about passme). Just and FYI.

But Hardware when did you buy your DS??? I am assuming that HotDogWater brought his DS recently and as such it might be a newer firmware.

But I could be wrong.

I bought mine in the States just about a month ago when the price dropped to $130 and Mario was a pack in game. You would figure they would have changed the firmware then as it was a really good deal to buy the system with game for $130.

Not really because that pack includes the original blue NDS, which works with the Passme.

The newer NDS's that were made after I think August are the ones that have the updated firmware.

Hardware, what are the first few digits of your serial number?

Does anyone have a NU41+ serial working with a passme?

I just bought a US SILVER NU41******[2] two days after my friend bought a NU10 from the same store. We're waiting for M3 SD kits to ship so I can't test anything just yet. If his works and mine doesn't I'm gonna be pissed!

Mine is an NU41 baby. You should be as good as golden.

What do you mean by 41??? Is that the last two digits in the serial number??? If so I have a 57 :(

He asked me what the first few digits are. Those are the first 4 digits for my serial number.
