Capcom have said that the Xbox Live file size limit will not be a an issue for 'Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix'. "With great help from the guys at Microsoft, we will be able to offer the same features on both platforms to the same quality as each other. To use the term I’ve been reading on the forums, neither console version will be “gimped” due to any kind of limitation."

how about this. Make PSN version garbage on purpose and make the best one be available for LIVE Arcade. Simple. M$ owns the world, remember that:cool:

MS simply waived the XBLA file size limit for this game. That's why it's no longer a problem. They also waived the file limit for Bionic Commando Rearmed.

Capcom said that Bionic Commando would require content to be cut to meet the file limit, and in the case of SFII, they would have to drop the resolution down from 1080p - the PSN version of both games would require no such 'compromise'. And i would imagine that MS didn't want PS3 to have the definitive versions of what are sure to be 2 of the best downloadable games this side of summer.

tbh, the Live file limit just seems a bit daft to me.

with help from MS? all they probably need is wave a wad of cash to counter sony's wad of cash, either that or MS showed capcom how to actually ration filesize, either way capcom had to get schooled lol
