Lost Planet: Colonies confirmed, includes Xbox 360/PC cross-platform play

The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed Lost Planet: Colonies and revealed lots of new information. The game is not an entirely new game but a remake of the original with more assets and expanded multiplayer. New features include: New multiplayer modes (including Humans VS Akrid), 4 new maps, new female playable character, ten new weapons, new monsters, trial battle and score attack modes for the campaign bosses, 360/PC Cross-platform play.

Cmon, MS is making PC games so gay, this will probably be a "Game for Windows" game that you got to pay to play online :(, as long as they don't get Steam, Valve or Sierra in that crap I'm ok I guess...

so your saying steam is good?? no fucking way. at least MS hasn't centralized distribution of pc games over a bloated piece of ****. sure making people pay for online play on pc is stupid but valve are worse due to the fact that their "steam"ing pile of **** ended up screwing up my computer. valve should go **** themselves if they think i'm ever buying a pc game off them again.

I'm not saying Steam is good, I think it's alright but FAR from perfect, I'm just talking about their servers that Counter-Strike runs off of :), and I couldn't care less whether you are going to buy another game off them TBH. If CS ever goes "Game for Windows" that will suck.

Epic must feel SALTY right now, Didnt UT3 have Cross platform built in, but never enabled it for some unknown reason?

I would welcome mixed PS3, PC, 360 online matches.

Actually that accolade goes to Shadowrun. Unverse at War, The Crossing and Left4Dead are also supposedly going to support it as well. Kinda cool but I wish some of the multiplatform games would do that with PS3/360 cross-play.
