Gamers have been shocked to find that Army of Two is not cross region compatible and believe the information should have been listed on the games box. Page six of the games manual says "NOTE: The online game modes in Army of Two are not cross region compatible and is only supported between PAL discs." This means that Europeans and Americans cannot play against each other.

We also wonder along with them whether or not this is something we should come to expect from future EA titles. Let's hope not.

Seeing as it is EA (and their servers), I'd bet yes.

Burnout Paradise isn't the case whatsoever. I was playing XxBigP123xX (America) on Sunday Evening GMT and I have the PAL version.

It depends all on the developers really, I have Motorstorm and its region locked on servers which sucks ultimate balls as I like to play my fellow Brits with my American version

cross region compatablity is a blessing and a curse. a blessing since you'll get to talk to some nice people about halfway across the globe that you wouldn't usually know but on the other hand, how many whining little shits do you get in your ear at the same time?

why would you say that, separate region servers is a good thing for lag, like in CoD4 when you get assigned to these crappy ass connections that are from Australia.
but the problem is a lot worse in the US.
I think you will find that it doesn't matter where you from there are assholes everywhere. no country has more that another.
