Yeah, my mate has had loads of framerate problems as well as crashing. His xbox is new and he is mad

Good job RockStar!

I've just been playing it. The cut scene at the beginning was quite choppy, I saved the game at the first opportunity, played for about 20 - 30 minutes basically finished a whole day, I played an arcade machine in the dormitory then the game froze up so I lost everything prior to my 1st save

shocking considering it's a PS2 port, what happens to those of us without Live? I guess a return is in order.

I've put quite a few hours into the game already, not come across any problems at all.

I am 10% into the game according to my last save and I have seen none of these issues that they speak of.

Although from what I have seen they have made absoluetely no effort to spruce up the graphics.

The scripted scenes look absolutely hideous.

Well my replacement elite (thanks gamestation :)) is 17 DEC 07 model with new cpu and i got 1 lock up after about 2 hours of play, and the frame rate when in town is terrible, so rockstars claim of "older" 360's been the ones with the problem is rubbish. I have to say the new consoles are just as noisey but they stay ice cold even after 3-4 hours solid play.
