According to reports, Microsoft will be announcing some big news in the Middle East next week. It is believed that it will mostly likely be that they will finally be launching Xbox Live there.

<center><img src="http://www.maxconsole.net/content_img/hooraylive.jpg"></center></a>

Since events and announcements are rarely ever made in the region, says our source, this could very likely mean the launch of Xbox Live in the Middle East. That means we'll have even more strangers swearing at us from foreign parts. Welcome aboard!

Microsoft UK was unavailable for comment when we picked up the phone, but we'll let you know if and when it gets back to us.

What about Poland? We are still waiting... everybody have to register on UK or USA because we don't have our official polish xbox live.

The worst thing is that Microsoft block some downloadable content for us.

at least there is polish version of playstation store.

That's a tough call... on one hand, they've got the first-hand experience. But on the other, who wants to come home after a hard-days work and then do the exact same thing in a game. :D

Maybe they will have Saudi specific Xbox Live Arcade minigames like 'Behead the Infidel' and 'Build a Wall and Push it on the Adultress' or Ramadamadingdong or maybe even 'Drink and You're Dead'

I had the misfortune of spending a few days in Riyadh a couple of years ago and I watched as the Mutaween (Saudi Religious Police) arrested a Swiss couple and their 2 young children for drinking fucking WATER during the Ramadan fasting time from sunrise to sunset. How the hell were they supposed to know that they were breaking the law?

It may be a rich country but the people there are so backward and dangerous its unreal.

I Agree 100 percent, these towel head camel jockeys are the biggest bunch of inbreds in the world, the thing that amazes me is how dumb they are. The last thing we should be doing is allowing them the goods we enjoy in the west, the only thing we should give every muslim is a bullet.

You don't deserve a response but here goes.

Do my research?

"I Agree 100 percent, these towel head camel jockeys are the biggest bunch of inbreds in the world, the thing that amazes me is how dumb they are."

My father is an Arab Muslim. He joined the British Royal Navy to escape the horrible circumstance he was born in to. Lack of law and order is what is wrong with these countries, not the people. The "towel head camel jockey" being "so dumb" now owns and manages three restaurants. Not bad for an inbred.

"The last thing we should be doing is allowing them the goods we enjoy in the west, the only thing we should give every muslim is a bullet."

Most of the "goods we enjoy" in the west are made elsewhere. Think before you speak.

Blind racism and ignorant comments such as yours only breed more hate. I suggest you rethink your opinion, based on some research.

This is all part of the Americanisation of Iraq to make the next generation of Iraqis more accepting of the American way of life and thinking. Next they be rolling out McDonalds, Burger King, Coke, WalMart, American music, American Football, you name it. It's really quite a simple concept, simply Americanise the minds of the next-generation so to force a common interest.

Is your father still a Muslim ?? The reason is not the lack of law and order in those countries it's the islam faith that is the cause of the problems which is why there is and will always be ongoing attrocities in those countries.

Faith is never a reason, it's an excuse. My Father is Muslim, my Mother Roman Catholic and I'm looking into Quakerism. There are estimated to be between 1.1 billion and 1.8 billion muslims in the world. The extremists are a minority, and all religions have them. You're a fool if you think nothing was ever invented in the Middle East. "Do your research".

I'm not going to reply to you anymore. I have no interest in speaking with racist, ignorant people.

I knew you wouldn't reply anymore as you can't tell me of any computer or console technology that comes from the middle east, and as for extremists being a minority in the muslim faith well the supposed majority should stand up and condemn the terrorists and also help report them, but you & I know that isn't going to happen. Sadly though that list kind of proves the point. Though I agree with you that the Majority of Muslims are peaceful and that extremists are a small minority (the same can be said of most religions, christian, jew, etc) the progress of Muslim society has been signifgantly stiffled since the 15th century which most see as the dawn of the modern age. The reasons are up for debate but most blame the disproportionate amount of power held the fundamentalist minority.

And could you tell why of the downfall? There are several reasons, but two are the most important:
1- The arabs brought with them to Europe all the culture they found in Persia and the Ottoman Empire, when they were here they shared such culture with the Cristians..... these used such knoledge to defeat them before all Europe was conquered by Islam (a prominent Islam by the way)
2- The muslim kings of that age went so wrong as to consider every one of the countries they ruled on their own. When this happened every time one of these kings died the countries were dividen between their sons, a portion for each. Who then fought themselves to reunite the land (killing each other of course). This made them very very weak in time.

After these two points the crusades began, AND HAVEN'T STOPPED YET. We now found ourselves living the results of crusades, a submission of the East to the West. Not much has changed since. That's why they live in poverty, every one of their (corrupt) rulers is chosen in the CIA, if you do your reaserch now you will discover light.

Ohh and by the way, following point 1 I tell you that most of the rules that we have in our societies, human rights and even hygene comes from Islam. Apart from most of our history (which were preserved in Persian texts), maths (algebra, alquimia, those are all arabic names) and modern medicine.

Ohh well, I love history :)

If you love history you really should read up on it...

Its popular sentiment to blame the crusades on fanatical christians but the real reason for the crusades goes much further. Read up on Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb. Roughly translated that the Abode of Islam and the Abode of war. Everything under Islamic rule falls under Dar al-Islam the rest falls in Dar al-Harb. The only peaceful coexistance allowed in the traditional Islam is Dar al-Islam where other religions are tollerated as long as they submit to Muslim rule, tollerance being a loose term since basically those people are left with no real rights of their own beyond the provision that they wont be persecuted for their beliefs. At the time that Mohammed went to war against Mecca back in the 7th century, Christianity was the predominant religion throughout the Medditeranian and Middle East. Shortly after Mohammed died, Palestine, Syria and Egypt were conquered and by the 8th century North Africa and Spain joined them. By the 11th century Turkey which was one of the oldest christian nations was overtaken. The roman empire had basically been reduced from most of europe and the Middle East to Greece and Cyprus. Constantinople asked for help from western europe to aid them in protecting what little they had left...that was the start of the Crusades. It was basically a pushback to protect what they had left and an attempt to regain what was lost. The first objective was to aid christians from the east and the second was to regain places conquered that were concidered Holy in Christian faiths. When it all comes down to it the problem on both sides was basically intollerance. It still goes now now and doesnt look to change, just look at Jerusalem, the holiest of cities for Muslims, Christians and Jews, but rather than respect each others faiths they fight ad-nauseum. Its no wonder that Atheisim is on such a rise.

That is so flawed that I dont even know if I want to begin dissecting it. You say you love history, yet you dont really know it do you?

All of Europe conquered by Islam? Are you having a laugh? At the absolute height of its power the Ottoman Empire had control of less than half of South East Europe and although they controlled most of what we know as the Balkans. They never came near The UK, Germany or France and had been long driven out of Spain. They never dared venture near the real superpowers of Europe.

It is true that a great many scholars have come from Islam but that makes you wonder all the more why they would deny women the basic right of education and why they have such barbaric punishments if, as you claim they were the original purveyors of human rights. Why do they deny so many a concept that they are alleged by you to have invented?

Islam certainly didnt bring hygiene to Western Europe. We have the Romans to thank for that, they brought sewage systems and huge baths to all they controlled along with the roads they built.

Like all religions the ultimate goal of Islam is to become the one dominiant religion, that will never happen and the notion that a lot of fundamentalists have that the west is weak couldnt be further from the truth and one day, if things keep going the way they are they are all going to find out to their ultimate cost just how powerful the West can be. Its a sad fact but it becomes more inevitable as each day passes.

I know quite a few Muslims and they are good people but I could never find myself being compatible with the life they live. My life could never revolve around a religious building, be it a church, mosque or otherwise.

A ridiculous assumption. Plain and simple. A few peasants in the Balkans. The combined might of the UK, France and Spain would have been considerably harder to defeat, especially with the Church of Rome pulling the strings.

I see that you ignored the rest of my points as well. Islam wants it both ways.

Muslims here in the UK are always bleating about their 'human rights' being breached post 9/11 and 7/7 but they would deny those very same 'human rights' in a heartbeat to all were they ever to get any power.

They wish to impose their barbaric Sharia laws on this country and claim racism when they are (rightfully) told to go and **** themselves by the democratically elected representatives of this country.

If they are such an enlightend people (again as you say) why do they continue to force their daughters into marriage and then kill them if they dont obey?

I am sorry but everything you have said is totally at odds with the evidence of my own eyes. I dont trust them and I never will.

Dont dare call me a racist for having an opinion on life events that I have seen with my own eyes. I live in the UK, we have some of the most left wing media in the world in our country so dont blame them either. The racism card wears thin. Havent you got anything else? Seriously?

I couldnt care less that some nobody comedian and an even bigger nobody rap artist are Muslims? WTF does that have to do with anything?

I gave you facts (like the very real one about so called 'honour killings') and you turned it around and played the race card because you have nothing else to back your argument up. It really is pathetic.
