To use an American expression
I expect that this will tank on the 360 as well.
I dont know what the big thing is about Crysis. On the PC its a technical demo which has mushroomed into a full game. Its an average me too shooter at best with ridiculous specs.
I quite enjoyed it actually, until the aliens came along and ruined it.
This will be Crysis 'Lite' with the full shebang out on MS's next console 3 or 4 years after its PC release.

Couldn't we say the same thing for HL2, or Doom4?!
All this "Crap" is nothing more then a Tech-Demo to get the Sheep to part with the fat-end of ¤6 Bills to fatten up your choise of AMD or nVidia.
And, People still have to ask why PC Gaming is in such a decline?!
Ok so what if you can get an ~ok card~ for less then say ¤2 Bills.
You're never gona win that p*ssing contest aka 3Dmark06 so why bother?!
And getting back to the "Game", why is it that once you remove all those nice shiny, bright, bumpmaped and over-bloomed Graphics, I feel like I'm left with a gameplay mode oddly reminicent of 1992?!
Could it be that People are getting tired of the "Rat in a Maze w/ really Big Guns!" + Slimmer Wallets, *to sit there playing though a Three and One-Half Hours of ÜberGraphical Muder-Simulation (r) Jack Thompson
Gee it's no wonder why People are going to Consoles...

BTW: this is a Gameing Site ~right~, so wha hasn't there been any mention on the passing of the late great Gary Gygax yet?!
I'm very upset yout this!
If you need to ask the your way to young, and should get back to your marithon of CS...

remember killzone?
crysis is the high tech relative of killzone. there was too much hullabaloo about the game when it came out. especially the fact that its graphics and system requirements were claimed to be far beyond those of any on the system before.
in essence its a boring, sub standard, mix of farcry instincts and some other game they must have scrapped called area 51 or something.
there is NO storyline. youre on an island (yet again) fighting koreans. then you come across an ancient alien ruin. aliens awake a la half life 2 and then you get off the island. only to kill one alien ship which follows you in the end.
in fact the ending is probably one fo the WORST endings you will ever see in a game in your life.
this game is clearly unfinished, overhyped and seriously NOT worth the money invested in a pc system. its best left released on consoles, in whatever form with whatever cut. and even with the graphics stripped it will show its true colours as a truely mediocre shooter.

Booth dude was probably mistaken was was talking about the Crytek Engine and not the game itself, which many others have voiced in the comments section of the original page. Previous article from a more reliable said it wasn't coming to 360 because it wasn't powerful enough.

Because they are trying to find a publisher for it for 360.

whats wrong with EA, I thought they were the publisher, I know Ubi has the Far Cry franchise so I don't think finding publisher would be an issue.

Its good that you have imagination. But please don't make it look like a fact.

"As much as I pleaded, the rep would not allow access, but did reveal that they were showing the game to prospective publishers."
Next time please try to gather facts before trying to prove me wrong.

I wonder why EA havent picked it up?
Surely that sort of release is right up their alley. I mean the fact that they are generic crap hasnt stopped them from releasing MOH year in year out so you would have thought console Crysis would have been a no brainer for them.
Strange.

It wasn't the game itself in the end. But the engine.
That makes more sense.
