I thought the game was going to be like Dead Rising. Looks like another shooter......I guess I will have to wait and see.

I was under that impression because I saw this in a interview:

GameSpot: What exactly is Left 4 Dead? We understand that it has survival horror elements, but what else is there to the game? How would you describe it?

Michael Booth: Left 4 Dead is a cooperative survivor horror game where four survivors must work together to escape a city teeming with an overwhelming number of the infected. If you work together, you have a chance. If you run off on your own, you will die.

It makes it sound like it could be like a multiplayer Dead Rising. Survivor horror isn't what I saw in the video; I saw a shooter with zombies. Survivor horror is what I consider Dead Rising or Resident Evil to be. Anyways, I hope the game is good.

OMG! I gotta get this, its like ravenhome, but its more like ravencity! I hope, Im definetly getting this, graphics dont look very good, but there are alot of stuff on screen, so ill forgive it.

What they showed in the video is the **** hitting the fan, but I'm sure it has it's own survival horror puzzles.

I never realized they were claiming this to be a survival horror. Guess I called you out a little too early. Anyways. It's CS with Zombies. Which is A-Ok by my.
Zombie Mod's fun, but I have a lot more hope for this.

Agreed, this game looks bad ass and can't wait for this, also check out Dead Island, it's a lot like this but looks more graphic than this. Has L4D gotten a release date yet?
