I have a 256MB EZFA (The Real Time one) + a passme, which I ordered from dspassme.com (GBC Complete) and a Teal Coloured NDS.

I am trying to get the NDS roms to work using the NDSPatcher

e.g. AdvanceWars.nds -> AdvanceWars.nds.gba

but when I try to flash the rom to my flashcart using the EZFA software, I cannot select to flash the .nds rom only the .nds.gba, which brings me to the GBA menu and then a single white screen.

Can other EZFA owners who have sucessfully gotten NDS roms to work please tell me what I am doing wrong?

EDIT - I place the flashcart into my GBASP to flash the roms the roms to the cart and then put the cart into the DS.

go to the website you posted, dspassme.com, and read the page... the new coloured ds is refered to as the ique afaik, and the standard passme exploit doesn't apply.

Then why does the website not refer to the Red NDS as a IQUE???

I am pretty sure thats not the problem, but thanks for the help man. I will look into the IQUE thing.

I use an EZFA myself all you need to do is make sure the MultiRom option is off then it should work but I have a feeling that the post before saying that your DS is not compatable with the PassMe is the problem.

how do you backup the save information on an EZFA cart? My old lady has played pokemon pinball for months now and want to keep all her save information. Do you cut off MultiRom in the ezfa software interface?

as in the gba game original?

orignals all you do is run the EZFA software with the Original GBA cart inserted in your GBA/SP

gba flashed games you do the same thing but with your EZFA card in, you don't need to disable multirom for that

There are some (very few though) save types that can't be backed up

Multi rom disabling comes in handy for 3 reasons
1. GameCube reading GBA games through a link
2. Nintendo DS booting DS games through a PassMe/Compatable device
3. Linking GBA to GBA games

Can you put multiuple games on a EZFA? How?

No you can't. You can boot one game at a time since you have to turn multiboot off in the EZFA client software (done after format), and only then if it is NDSpatcher compatible, which only the first 100 or so titles (with exceptions of course) are.

Not too sure what's going on here, but IQUE is the name for the Chinese DS.

If you have a Teal DS (after November 2005) then it is most probably not compatible with the Passme (v1)
Only Passme2 (v2) or Nopass (v3) (superkey, MML, etc...) will work on later DS firmwares.

Also a Passme2 (v2) will not work with an EZFA cart because it can only work with multirom disabled, So you cannot have the SRAM on the cart at the same time as the NDS rom.
