I have a d2ckey and have had no troubles with my wii whatsoever so it is an alright choice. Although there is a new D2Pro which is updatable (Although not many are available) the d2ckey should be fine.

and the updating of the d2pro requires a programmer and all that stuff.. so just get a d2ckey I'd say

Why not get the argon it's half the amount of wires to solder

Argon's gay.

Less wire count may mean it's easier to install, but does not mean is a better or stable chip.

I've had so many bad experiences with the Infectus team.

They make and sell crap.

All IMHO.

The only problem Argon had was the freezing problem on V1.0 firmware
V1.6 is out now

D2ckey will be hard to find now because of D2pro

Plus it's only 15 wire as well

What is your username on the Infectus forum if I may ask (couldn't find a user there named accessdenied) ? They have excellent and fast feedback on their forum. In fact, it is the only team which communicates directly to the end-user/modder. I have very good experiences with them. Ok, granted, their English is a bit crappy at times, but that's it..

And 1.7 will be out in a weeks time.

There's no point in digging up my posts on the infectus forums.

I've given up on their products. And I'm not talking about it all over again or debating about their products.

I'm absolutely not installing any of their products even if my customers beg me or pay triple the install fee.

I'm not the only one making a ruckus about their products anyways.
Go read another user's posts. It's probably the same stuff.

So ? It's updateable, what's the use of bugfixes/features are not added ? I know I know, the D2CKey does it all out of the box. Whatever. Fact is that D2CKey is the same team as Wiikey and woohoo, what a great team that has been lately..

I'd rather have an Argon going through a series of updates in 3 months time, mostly fueled by the input of users/resellers/modders on the forums than a Wiikey stuck at a beta 1.9g for the past year or so...

Anyway, I wasn't asking your username on Infectus forums for digging up old posts, just wanted to see what issues you had that weren't solved to your satisfaction and the interaction with Infectus about them.. I trust you have used their forums to address your issues (and not just flaming about them like you are doing here ?).

idog the d2ckey is not programmed by the same team as the wiikey in the beginning. that wiikey guy split, so the d2ckey team programmers jumped in and helped out and programmed the 1.9g update. Not the same thing.

Original WiiKey and 1.9g. I have not heard of any problems, or at least I've not experienced any w/ the Wiikeys I've installed. ;)
