I made a backup of GH3 while I sent the original off for replacement, (for the mono sound issue) on my Verbatim 16x DVD+R (MCC004) at 4x. I started having issues in-game where the game would skip for a couple seconds and then the sound and video were out of sync until the next load screen on certain songs. So I tried burning it on Memorex 8x DVD-R (RitekG05) at 8x and it actually works better than the original did. No more audio/video lag and load times were faster than ever! I haven't had these discs fail me once, and they succeed where my Verbatims failed.

Hallelujah! I'm a BELIEVER!!!

.....sorry.....

Personally I preferred the G04's, but you can't get them anymore. The G05's are good, but now I don't use anything but Taiyo Yudens.

Riteks are very good!!! I used them for GC-Games. They worked perfekt. Now I am using Verbratins for the WII, but good to know that they are so good for WII.:D Does anyone know if Nero 8 burns with good Quality? Nero 7 was not so good as Nero 6. So what would you prefer?? Nero 6, Nero 8 or ImgBurn???

Using Nero 8 burning at 4x, 8x, 12x, and 16x without any problems on LG SATA DVD burner. Best to stick to good media, eg Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden, and keep your DVD burner's firmware updated.

I am using a Toshiba SD-R5372. I have no problems until now. Its a very good burner.:) I burned a lot of GC and WII Games with it and Nero 6. With Nero 7 I've god DRES. So I don't trust Nero. Nero 8 seems to be ok....Thank you:rolleyes:
