Ok, i knew there are exploits.
I just bought a Wii... is it possible for exploit develop to a ISO loader or softmod it to run games from DVD? :D:D:D:D
If it isnt possible in the next few months , i ll hv it modded in HongKong this summer. :D:D:D:D

It's kind of possible, nothing's impossible, but I highly doubt it. It's a lot easier to just put a chip in it at this point.

As was said it's a lot easier to just install a modchip yourself. I can't imagine having to run Twilight Princess and talking to a guy every time I want to play a game.

i`m not sure, but extremely reliable sources tell me that it will be either a samsung spinpoint hdd, serial numbers beginning with 721a or western digital 7200rpm 16 meg cache ones , but they must have at least 4 platters and latency of no less that 8ms RT. No luck with sata or solid state as of yet.........................................
only kidding (obviously). no offence meant ;)

The problem i aint engineering people, cant chip the wii myself.
Only chance i do that is when i go to HongKong this summer where mod store people everywhere there. Its no convenience find a mod guy in america.

funny monkey...lol
i also like the part where tristan said "i aint no engineering people"
but tristan, i have hope for fast developments in the wii field although the common response is that an iso loader will take time.

Personally, I hope that nobody develops a method to softmod using the TP exploit. The quickest way to kill the homebrew scene is for cheap, easy, risk-free, (and therefore rampant) piracy to occur. That's when equipment suppliers and developers start getting subpoena's.

This doesnt make sense. The quickest way to kill homebrew by making the wii capable of homebrew??
