View Full Version : Problem upgrading to 2.0!

Ive got a 1.5 psp as of right now but I wanted to upgrade to 2.0 to try it out since the downgrader came out. After I download the update I go to install it but there is no text no nothing just an "X" and an "O" at the bottom. There should be text but tis just not showing. Did I do something wrong?

i figured out a way....go 2 system settings and restore factory settings
den it worked for me :) but u WILL LOSE ur internet connection settings

:cool: Yep same thing happened to me, had to use a stock PSP to see what sequence of button strokes to use and got O, Right, Down, Right, O and this did the trick,

I think it's a bug left over from the Wab 2.5 version changer that i used lot's, it may damage the onboard flash.

Just as a warning, what ever you do, DO NOT upgrade if you can't read the text.

I did, and it bricked my psp. I also didn't use any firmware flashing tools at all. I played some homebrew, but nothing that would write to the flash.

It seems that restoring the factory settings would have helped me. Wish I'd thought of that :(
