D2C Key Not Booting Original PAL Discs

Hi,

Is anybody experiencing a strange problem with D2C key?

The problem I have is that my PAL Wii which has firmware 3.1E does not read original discs, none work at all. I get the unreadable disc error, but when I backup the same original disc and burn it to DVD it runs on the Wii with no problem.

This is the same for Gamecube original discs, the backups work but not the originals.

Has anyone got an idea of what the problem could be?

did you close the correct jumper on the d2ckey and did you connect the L wire?
