I am considering purchasing a mod chip for my Wii. I am leaning towards the WiiKey. It seems to have a simple install and I like the idea of quick solder. Can anyone give me any input on this? On second take the Cyclowiz seems to be a better choice.

What chip do you have? And when did you buy your console? Make sure you know what kind of chip your console has before you buy a modchip. If you bought it recently it is likely that you have the dreaded D2C chip. There are more modchip options now out there, like the D2pro, D2Cpro, Argon. If you do have a d2c chip I'd personally go with D2pro. Only 15 wires compared to it's predecessor D2CKey with 29 wires.

If your lucky and have the D2B drive chip, I would recommend doing the external mod chip installation which lets you use multiple mod chips if the need arises.
