Pirates vs. Ninjas will be best looking title on Xbox live

Developer Gamecock has said that Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball will be the best looking title on Xbox Live Arcade. They believe the game may take off bigger than a lot of boxed games have done. Gamecock went on to say that that Live Arcade is better established than the PlayStation Network and that the market's not yet there for the PSN. However they say that Sony really wants the game for PSN and that they are platform agnostic.

"Everyone who's into independent games is pretty excited by Xbox Live, we've got one title for that due in February (the Blazing Lizard developed Pirates vs Ninja Dodgeball) and it will be the best-looking title on the service. It might take off bigger than a lot of these boxed games have done.

"When a team can knock out a game in six months you can really take a chance on something," added Wilson, revealing that although Sony's PSN service isn't quite as established, the format holder has been knocking on Gamecock's door inquiring about content.

"The market's not there yet but it will be and it's nice that you don't have this 150MB limitation. It will be interesting to see how it emerges as a market.

"Sony really wants this Pirates vs Ninjas game we're doing for Xbox Live and we're platform agnostic so if we're investing in a title let's give it a chance wherever there is one," he said.

I cant wait for this one...this year is really shaping up well for Live games...Castle Crashers, Penny Arcade and Talisman are others im really looking forward to as well.

Good to hear that PSN is being concidered as well, the types of games on Live and PSN are things that should be enjoyable on all 3 consoles.

You havent been here long...he was just replying to Skyline one of the resident fanboys...any post related to the 360 good or bad he automatically posts that it looks terrible, plays badly or just sucks in general, while anything good or bad news on the PS3 is fantastic no matter what. Most of us just put him on our ignore lists.

Gamecock screwed up with that one, their Prez has issued apology after apology but the damage was done. Still I really do like what they stand for...remember before that incident they were the gaming commiunities darling for staging the funeral for E3 and stating that the gamers should always come before the media.

They had a couple of idiots that were supposed to storm the stage in chicken costumes, they were originally supposed to do it during the Mountain Dew award but for some reason missed that and decided to do it during the GOY award presentation preventing Ken Levine from even being able to speak...probably one of the most shameful moments in gaming history.
