Well not really... It's not called Wii, it's not having Wii games, it's not violating any Nintendo trademarks or patents. Well, personally I find this console rather useless but some people might want it for their own collection and it is rather hard to get it in Europe or US.
PS. The only thing that both consoles have in common is that both are absolute waste of money ;).

it's not false advertising really. it's made to be purchased by confusion and false intent. it plays on the folks who what a wii, can't find one and see this 'Vii' as a 'Wii' at a cheaper price.

there will be alot of confused and angry people once they finally receive their 'Vii' consoles. Ebay is full of people everyday that purchase items thinking that the auction is for something other than it is.

people buy pictures of cell phones, empty boxes and pictures of boxes everyday cause there seems to be more ignorant, creative and dishonest people than there are semi intelligent / smart people on ebay / the internet.

Perfectly legal through ebay. If this were being sold at a retail store though this would be halted by a lawsuit. Buyer beware. Cant say I would feel sorry for a rich kid paying 500+ dollars for a Vii:D

I always wait until the next system is announced to buy the current consoles. Games at gamestop plummet in price and all the spoiled rotten kiddies throw away their consoles to Goodwill because we all know game systems stop being fun after a better console is announced;)

I'm having a gaming blast with the PS2 and Xbox right now. For 30$ I got a gold mine of games for ps2 and Xbox. All really good titles. Let the suckers blow 60$ a game and with patience you can pick up a bucket load of them at a discount after they throw out their stuff.

I'm hoping for a new 360 slim model with RROD completely fixed, quiet cooling, quiet dvd rom, hdmi, 200gb. I heard they are coming out with a 30mm cpu. I figure this will be for the remodel. Have fun with the RRODs and 60$ games. I'll be playing Tao Feng until you all through out your goodies:p

umm... The manufacturer never called it nintendo vii. So its not copyright enfringement. It is false advertising on the part of the ebay seller, though.
