Ok I m going to need everybody s help on this one.

I was trying to remove my protector screen from my DS screen and I had this "brillant" idea (yeah I know I m dumb but that s no the point) to use a small suction cup: the whole screen came off (the thin glass that protects the actual screen)!!!!!!.
Then I had this other great idea: to put it back while it and the glass were in a small bowl full of water (so no bubbles...) . It worked, but by doing so I scratched the other side of the screen: there s no bubbles but the screen has small scratches on it (damn! I want to kill myself now!). There must ve been something at the bottom of the bowl. So now what can I do?

Is there a way to "fill" the scratches on the screen? Can I clean it (what do I use)? Can I buy another screen (and where)?

I really hate those scratches and was thinking of making another screen with a new CD/DVD cover. Do u think that will work? If yes, how can I cut the cover?

Please help (and don t laugh).

Why the hell would you want to remove the "protector screen" (don't know what you're talking about). Anyway If you think a CD case will do you could cut it with a soldering iron (sorry I'm french -> "fer à souder"). Or fill the scratches with a thing that repairs scratched CDs, that may work...

Anyhow I highly suggest killing yourself after you fail to do this... ;)

Thank you great_evil_king. I did not think about that filling thing.
I was talking about a shield that protects the top and bottom screens of the DS:

No problem for your english, I also don t speak english (I speak french).
Yesterday I tried to cut a thin window but it broke down at the last moment. I m going right now to a 99 cents or less store to buy some picture frame so I can get more glass for my work. It seems that the glass can t have scratches on it.

Thanks great_evil_king, I bought some D-SKRATCH today at Radioshack (TheSourceCC) and it worked! The big scratches are almost invisible now.
I was was also trying to cut some thin glass but they always manage to break after the first cut (I have a mirror cutter). The image might be better with the glass I think. Do I need some kind of oil to cut the glass? Is there anoter way to cut it?

:D :D :D

As far as I know you dont need oil to cut glass (or tiles, unless they are really thick) - essentially to cut glass you need to etch where you want cut with the diamond bit and the tap it with something solid to break off the piece you dont want... not sure how well that would work with small pieces of glass though.

don't go killing yourself over that man. there's far more important things to kill yourself over. like women and finances.

but seriously, don't kill yourself at all.
