Ok this happened after i tried to formatflash and reset settings in recovery, everything works except for when i save a wallpaper, it lets me go to the pictures and i use the save as wallpaper icon and it says its saved, then when i go to theme settings and click wall paper a message comes up saying that there is no wallpaper set. I know its not very important but turning on my psp and not seeing hokusai's great wave really brings me down, miss it. If someone can help me out that would be awesome.

The format flash1 function from recovery actually erases all the folders from flash1 and the PSP does not recreate them automatically when it reboots. Resetting settings from XMB leaves them intact (and therefore is preferrable to format flash1 from the recovery menu wherever possible).

Many of these folders are necessary for a variety of functions to work properly (one of which is themes).

You can fix this by manually replacing the folders in flash1. I would recommend taking a Nand backup before doing anything that involves flash writing.

Also, do NOT attempt this if you are running 3.71 M33-2. Update to M33-3 first, which includes a very important fix of a flash writing bug in M33-2 which can brick and also corrupt lflash partitions.

The folders that need adding (by toogle USB connection) to flash1 are:

flash1:/dic
flash1:/gps
flash1:/net
flash1:/net/http
flash1:/updater
flash1:/vsh
flash1:/vsh/theme

The registry folder will already be there so don't touch it - leave as it.

If any of these are alreay present do not attempt to add them again and do not replace the ones that are alreay there.
