Well, let me start off by explaining my little knowledge.
I know some of PS1 games have data part and music part.
Data part contains those files you can look with your PC if you insert game to CD drive.
Music part contains music which are playable with your CD player that you bought at local electric shop.
Most of the time, CD player will show Data part as track 1 and music part as 2, 3, and so on...

When popstation was released first time, I know it didn't have music part compatibility,
and lots of developer were struggrying hard to support music part.
I remember some people successfully converted music part to EBOOT.PBP by reading TOC part and implimenting it to EBOOT.PBP header.

My confusion come from those hundred of GUIs out there, I don't know which one is good or crap.
And now, multi-disc popstation came out and my confusion went to peak.
Is this music part TOC implimention techniques standerlized? or forgotten and ignored?
I thought some of CD-image format ignores TOC part and music can't be converted to EBOOT.PBP header...bin, iso, ccd...I don't know which one is best format...

Please let me know if you know something about all this...:(
Thank you!

If you rip the game as a bin you MUST load the .cue file in order for the CDDA audio to work. Simple Popstation GUI 3.00 (http://forums.maxconsole.net/showthread.php?t=42961) supports cue files.

I think CDDA audio in games ripped as .img work fine, but I'm not 100% sure cause I don't have any CDDA games.

.img requires a .ccd file to have CDDA audio.
