I'm using Ez Flash 3 in 1 along with my R4, and I'm having so many save problems with many GBA games. So far, Super Mario Advance 4, The Original Legend of Zelda, and Pokemon Pinball have failed. I've double checked, and I've sram patched and trimmed these bad boys, and they still come up "No sram found!" or something to that extent. I can play Pokemon Pinball, but it doesn't hold the save. When I try to load Super Mario Advance 4, it comes up error, and then let's me go to the world selection, but it's at world 6 and the screen just shakes repeatedly. With the original LoZ, it just comes up error and tells me to restart the game pack. I'm pretty sure it all has to do with the sram...but maybe it's the roms themselves? I'm not sure. Some other games, such as Super MarioAdvance 2, LoZ: A Link to The Past, and Golden Sun work fine, but I don't want to keep running into this problem. Can anyone help? =\

since all the above work on the 3in1 there is an issue here.

firstly did you fully charge the battery in the 3in1 as that might stop it from holding the saves?

if not leave it in your nds and do a full charge cycle on your ds with the ds turned off and the 3in1 fitted in slot 2 then leave it a further couple of hours after the nds light goes green.

then reply back.

Well, I had no idea how to even charge the battery, and if I understood you correctly, it's charging right now. I'll edit this post in about...six hours. Hopefully that will do the trick; however, I believe the roms themselves may also have been the problem. One rom actually corrupted my sd card, filling it with 121GB of random files. I had to reformat, and I'm gonna re-do all of my roms.

By the way, all I have to do is leave the 3 in 1 in the slot two with the DS charging while it's off? I wasn't sure if you meant to have the DS off or not, but if so, that's how I'm doing it.

Sorry to double post, but I really need help. >_>;

So, I let me DS charge for five hours, and Pokemon Pinball still won't save! Other games save, but this game won't! It sucks, cause I really want it, and I know it's possible to happen in future games. Also, Super Mario Bros. 3 still has that weird glitch thing I told you guys about previously. If someone has any suggestions, please! Let me know!

By the by, could trimming the roms effect them in this way?

yes trimming roms can affect them (badly)

but are you patchent he saves to sram before putting the roms onto your card?

if not you will need to, i use a program called gbata.exe to patch my roms and i've yet to encounter a problem except on roms that have special hardware in them (like tilt or rumbe) gbata can fix roms with realtime clock issues.

yeah to charge the 3in1 battery just leave your ds off whilst charging and the card in.

if you know the rom number of the file you are trying to play let me know and i'll check it out.

Well, the rom number is 1135. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm going to try not trimming it. This means I have to re-download it, but I'll edit once I try that

Also, I'm SRAM patching with gbata before I put them on the card.

Edit: Currently waiting to download, but I figure I'd mention some other roms that aren't working. Maybe you can help me with those, too? =D Roms 1512 and 1745. It just comes up, "Error. Can Not Read From Game Pak." Thanks again.

Just tried rom 1135 without trimming, and it still doesn't work.

Well, I ran 1135 in nor and it works...but I'm not sure exactly what the difference is between running it as sram and nor. >_>

hmm nor me.

i'm bound for bed soon (been up since 2am) but i'll have a try and let you know the results i get.

+ i'm not in the best of moods at present

2 total prick sony fanboys disgracing the ps3 as usual followed by some (ocksucking spammer in the ds part then someone who makes no attempt to try or find out anything but wants a complete userguide writing especialy for him (to create a dpg movie then run it in moonshell, i had already told him the software but obviously its easier to have it spoonfed to him rather than making any attempt at all to do something himself) has got my blood boiling so i'm afraid i could mess up something testing anything if i havent had some sleep first.

i'll test and get back to you ;)
