Yeah, I'm sure that the first thing you'd think of when you drop your PSP into the toilet. LET'S TAKE A PICTURE!
I don't think so :D :D

Take it apart (search using my name, I posted a link to a step by step guide a while ago), lets all the bits dry out and stick it back together.
Who knows - you may have found a new downgrading method :D

OMGZ guys, not its working i'll tell u what happened, after it dropped down i got it out luckly it was clean i left it to dry out and spun it around fast making sure all the water came out before turning it on.... when i turned it on, when i pressed the volume it started changing the brightness of my screen (Yeah? WTF lol) anyway, i turned it off and it goes in to standby mode with BOTH red and green lights on....
Left it a bit longer, at this time i just thought it was fucked tbh, and was about to sell it on ebay for spare parts or as a door stop.
Anyway, i turned it on after leaving it in the draw as i put it out of site as i couldnt face it :| anyway turned it on and everything is working, UMD drive was fucked for a bit, but now works 100% lucky or what :P
Moral of story if your psp falls in water spin dry the fucker and DONT turn it on, its worth leaving it for 3-4 days before even attemping the turning on.

ok dont power it on again it will die if you do eventually the water residue will oxidise when current pass's through it burning tracks.
your psp needs stripping, and the pcb's soaking in pure alcohol and then running through an ultrasonic cleaner the type used for water damaged mobile phone pcb's.
you may be lucky and your water supply has low limescale content good luck but i cant see it lasting long if indeed you did drop it in the toilet which im suprised it works at all as i asume you were playing it at the time lmao.
its a common error i fix phones all the time that have been soaked in piss which is acidic.

just to add to entity's response, if you ever water damage something take out the battery...in my experience of being a dumbass and dropping stuff it can save it's life!
you then obviously dry it out and clean it,
I think you're lucky it worked from just spinning it around, and with having water still inside!!! lucky break! :)
