Bricked my PSP while trying to do a slim :(

Can anyone help me please. I am trying to get a friends slim to run m33, I have a fat old psp (was) running 3.51 m33,

I have tried to use this guide to do it:

But always got a "Game could not be started" error.

So I decided to downgrade mine to a 1.50 (Uh oh). I started by holding down R while on start up toggled the usb, put the DOWNGRADE371M33bysamhain.rar files in the psp/game/recovery folder run that and now I've bricked my psp.

It just has the mem stick light flashing and does nowt :(

Is there any hope for my psp?

I have now found the easyinstaller with the small battery mod for my mates slim.

Any help would be nice.

If you can't get to the recovery menu to reflash the firmware then a pandora battery is your only hope.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have just managed to get my friends slim running m33 3.71 using a Pandora battery (modded my self!).

When I put this in my fat ol PSP it doesn't turn on automatically like the slim did.

Have I rubber ducked it?:eek:
Is there a way to mod a old battery?

Hi again,

I put the slim Pandora'd battery in the fat psp and got nothing!

Plugged in the AC adaptor and she sprang to life and is now also running M33 3.71!
