Yep, they sure are cheap on eBay...
Just a quick note people - the majority of memory sticks on eBay are fakes (what, you didn't think that the massive difference in price between retail stores and miraculous Far East eBay vendors was due to regional pricing variations did you? ;)).
For those of you that have already purchased them, take a close look at the packaging (easiest place to spot the fakes - the sticks look virtually identical).
Most of the fakes use fonts that are similar but not quite on the packaging, in addition the barcodes aren't in the correct format and hence invalid (try scanning them if you have access to an EPOS terminal) but the holograms are quite good as most of them are real (as purloined from 'surplus' runs).
Potential downfalls to saving a few bucks? A melted memory stick tops the chart along with cocking up your MS slot...
Have fun, bargain hunters...

hmm, there are a few sellers selling sandisk cards in brown boxes, so they may be fakes. never knew u could get fake MS cards. i can confirm that fastmemoryman is genuine, as it has all the security tags on the card.

The brown boxes are probably real OEM units.
All of the fakes that I have seen come in clones of the retail packaging with the majority of them carrying at least one of the mentioned errors.

fastmemoryman is defo legit.... comes in the offical sandisk sealed package that you see in yr dixons / high st shops....
I'm another happy fastmemoryman customer. I ordered 2 for £101 and they took 6 days to arrive with no customs charges.
Speaking of the high st shops, I pity the fool that purchases one from there. HMV charge £100 for a 1GB Sandisk and in Game want £80 even after a recent price drop.
