I bought an extra 1800 mAh battery to carry around with me in case I ever needed a fully charged battery and it worked wonderfully. Well, whenever Pandora was announced, I said "Hey, I have an extra battery. Why not make it a Pandora since I don't use it too much." so I did. Well it worked the first several times I used it for my friends. Until about 2 weeks ago that is. I was trying to use it for another of my friend's PSP and it went dead right after it auto booted the PSP. So I tried again and it wouldn't even turn on. So I figured "Hey, it needs to be recharged." So I put it on the charger for 3 hours. Took it off and it still wouldn't turn on. And when I put an AC adapter in the PSP and look at the charge percentage it says 0% and it won't charge, I even tried converting it back to a normal and charging it. But it still didn't work. Now keep this in mind if I boot it up with everything, so long as I have a AC adapter in, I can still use the battery to flash CFW onto a PSP. But again it won't hold the charge. My question is this, has anyone else encountered this?
Yes i have the same problem.

Try taking the battery out and then shorting the first and third (outer two where it connects to the psp)terminals together with a paper clip or wire for about a tenth of a second and then try to recharge the battery for about 8 hrs.

Alright, since your post, I shorted it with a paper clip and I started charging it then and it still hasn't charged a single bit. Could I possibly take an EEPROM from a friend's battery and replace the EEPROM in mine and see if it works or will it destroy my battery.

I think doing that will destroy the battery completly because Different Batteries have different EEPROM so, yeah doing that will just fry the whole battery
(If i'm wrong pls feel free to correct me)

Well i don't know who told ya that but they aren't exactly correct. Yes you can try to take the eeprom from another battery as long as the battery is the same model # you should be OK, however if they are from different makes or models they will probably do ya no good and may damage the batt. So if it is the same type of batt go for it. Just so ya know i have tested this many times and haven't had a single failure as of yet. At this point though i wouldn't be supprised if nothing works as your batt may just be dead.

Maybe you should accept the fact that your battery is dead.
Buy a new one.

Or I can try and figure out, mind you, if it is dead, why it's dead so I don't make the same mistake and brick another battery.
