why the hell would you wana buy a clone for,i know they are a bit cheaper but the amount of grief they are giving people it aint worth it....

this site sells them for $2.00, but they are the ones with silver contacts which can't be updated.

Are you sure they cant be updated? even using GCOS, thats what ive been doing with the clones.

can't update the last batch i had, which have silver coloured contacts and a atmega8 chip. i'm going to try and build a programmer and flash them before i install them, hopefully they will update from a disc after that.

Ya, I have a clone wiikey from divineo and it seems to not update. Built an atmega8 programmer for the wiikey, got lazy, then used a real atmega and use westek's 1.9g autoprogrammer to program my atemga8 to make it into a wiikey ( clone) that is updatable via dvd. I can help just PM me, stancartman would love to hear how your doing with that.
