New Memento Firmware released for Australia

The Memento hack team has released a new build of their firmware for the Memor 32 that essentially turns the memory card into a powerful mod chip. This new build is just a quick release for Australian PS2/PSTwo owners and in a few days a new firmware version will be released. Just a quick release for our Australian friends.
This is just the old 1.1 firmware with support for Australian's PS2 (SCPH-xx002).

In a few days we will be out with the new Firmware Version, we are already testing it will bring many new features!

Are they intentionally trying to avoid selling this to the USA? The hack team clearly states that the firmware works on usa consoles when I go to the website, so why isn't divineo offering the memory card itself to the usa yet?
