View Full Version : halo 3 disc unreadable

I made a backup of my halo 3 and after the intro were master chief puts a gun to the arbiters throat I get the disc is unreadable.. I have the samsung ixtreme 1.2 with v1.00 kreon using xbc on verbatim dl dvd media. any help is greatly appreciated.. :confused:

also worth noting is im using xbox backup creator v2.7

Did you try to burn it at a slower speed? You need to burn them at 2x
And try to use IMGburn to burn it. That is what I use and it has never failed me yet.

hmm well i did burn it at 2.4x but I used xbc. Nobody uses this method anymore? Ive never used imgburn before.

Yeah 2.4x is good. When you burn you should not do anything on your computer.

ya i think ur right. i think i was surfing the web while the disc was burning. ill try another copy only this time run xbc and not do anything else on the computer. The original halo 3 game runs perfect with no disc read errors so it has to be a bad burn I guess.
