Rumour: Alonetrio of WAB Arrested By Police ?

WAB.com is report that AloneTrio, the founder of PSP hacking group WAB has been arrested by police in Paris. According to the news post it is not clear if he was arrested because of his affiliation to WAB or because of some unrelated computer crimes. This comes as a HUGE shock to us all if it is even true.

Today at 7h00 PM, AloneTrio ( Founder of WAB ) have been arrested in Paris by police. Even Familly have no more infos about the arrestation. At the moment we can't say if it's about PSP activities ( like the already spreaded rumour ) or old past computer hacking activities. It seem that Yoshihiro have not been arrested for the moment. Like you see, wab.com is always online. More info on the site when we got it.

We all keep our fingers crossed for AloneTrio...

I beleive that as human being, we all have to be supporting the bad thing happened to Alonetrio.
Even if you beleive or not in his work
this is a matter of civilization.
A matter that really was out of this recent downgrader story at all.

Now, this bad news, should push all the freeking shouting guys to stop

WAB are spending lot of time, the donations are just 1% of the money the downgrader should cost for real, calculating all the time spent by them.

If AloneTrio did get arrested this means that Yoshi is most likely next on the list and should give him more incentive to release the downgrader before it's too late. Though, I don't see any reason why downgrading your PSP could be deamed illegal. You paid $250 for it you should damn well be able to do anything you want with it. So possibly the other claims of AloneTrio's hacking played a role? Possibly he was just drunk and crashed into a police station?

That says nothing about downgrading a firmware, which has nothing to do with circumventing copy protection. What if you don't like the v2.0 and want your old one back? :)

They are not fake. They were taking by a reporter after he was released the last time he was arrested in an interview in a French magazine which was scanned for me. :) I'd give the name of the magazine, issue # and page #, but I rather let you all find it for yourselves.

WERD UP!!! your exactly right...but the downgrading of the firmware may hold some sort of sdk software which may be illegal in itself which is why that may be illegal.

So they are neither *from jail* as you claimed on your website, nor relevant for current claim that he's arrested.

a) he never went to jail for that
b) he didn't hack the email account of the prime minister, he manipulated a website

All it shows that he's a cybercriminal and his arrest is probably not PSP-related. If it is even true he got arrested.
