since we do not want to lose $200 let's all try to help each other instead of helping each other fry our PSP's
including myself us psp slim 3.72 users need complete steps on how to do it right though because you have to understand there are so many threads out now and whats right and what could be wrong.
some users say users state that we should use TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu, but yet others say we should use Cory149's battery tool v0.3
here is the way i understand it: did i miss anything?
NAND DUMP!!!!
One thing though. You are right on the process. All you have to do is make a nand dump as soon as you have the pandora kit setup.
You can use the slim battery, but don't convert it with the original
Pandora converter. Use Cory149's battery tool v0.3 or the battery convert
option from Hellcat's V3.0 Pandora installer. These two
tools have been tested and confirmed working for the slim battery by many users.
k heres a simple step by step instruction on how to make the special memory stick thingy:
1) download TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu off the internet (just google for it)
2) unzip it and start the START.exe
3) just follow the simple instructions given in the cmd window.
4) after following all instruction, voila! u hav a magic stick!
now for installing 3.17 m33 on ur psp:
5) pop the magic stick first and then the harware modded pandoras battery into your psp. the psp shud start up automatically and the screen will be black. if the orange light at the left end of the psp is flashing, then its working.
6) press x. the orange light will kinda go haywire (the screen will still be black). wait for like 3-5(max) minutes or so. after everything is done the psp will shut down automatically.
7)remove the modded battery and replace it with a normal one or on ac adapter. check the system information about ur psp's firmware. it says 3.71 m33! if not then................u can just go to hell!!
