since we do not want to lose $200 let's all try to help each other instead of helping each other fry our PSP's

including myself us psp slim 3.72 users need complete steps on how to do it right though because you have to understand there are so many threads out now and whats right and what could be wrong.

some users say users state that we should use TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu, but yet others say we should use Cory149's battery tool v0.3

here is the way i understand it: did i miss anything?

NAND DUMP!!!!
One thing though. You are right on the process. All you have to do is make a nand dump as soon as you have the pandora kit setup.

You can use the slim battery, but don't convert it with the original
Pandora converter. Use Cory149's battery tool v0.3 or the battery convert
option from Hellcat's V3.0 Pandora installer. These two
tools have been tested and confirmed working for the slim battery by many users.

k heres a simple step by step instruction on how to make the special memory stick thingy:
1) download TOTALNewbieasyInstallerPandorasmenu off the internet (just google for it)
2) unzip it and start the START.exe
3) just follow the simple instructions given in the cmd window.
4) after following all instruction, voila! u hav a magic stick!
now for installing 3.17 m33 on ur psp:
5) pop the magic stick first and then the harware modded pandoras battery into your psp. the psp shud start up automatically and the screen will be black. if the orange light at the left end of the psp is flashing, then its working.
6) press x. the orange light will kinda go haywire (the screen will still be black). wait for like 3-5(max) minutes or so. after everything is done the psp will shut down automatically.
7)remove the modded battery and replace it with a normal one or on ac adapter. check the system information about ur psp's firmware. it says 3.71 m33! if not then................u can just go to hell!!

I know! I know!
Your next question will be
"How do I create pandora battery with my PSP slim 3.72?"
right?

i know how to do that, i was wondering if someone could outline the steps without explaining in depth so that way me and others users who are confused can find out the procedures ourselves. sound ok? i think it's fair.

When $200 is on the line, I think it would be a safer bet to read the detailed guides, rather than a simple guide that omits information that you might not find relevant but is actually important.

I know it's hard, but just read the guides that already exist. Carefully. Yes, they use a lot of words, but you can do it. The rest of us did.

Well my contribution.......USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!
But seriously as of lately it seems no one uses the search to find what they need.Everyone prefers that they are spoon fed instead of just taking some time to use the search feature here and also Google which is very helpful to my self if i may say.
I'm sure all the questions you are asking have been answered here one way or another.Sorry if i come out a little harsh and that is not my intention at all but this forum is been overtaken by people who sign up just so they can ask questions already answered a 1000 times before.

actually, for the past few days (for me atleast) i been trying to use the search, and it doesnt work, it just returns me to the page where i have to type in what i want to search for. not sure what it was about, but now i think its working good again:) (but i know u meant...in general..not just the past few days)

ALSO, what lostn said is basically right, the details is the best, if u cant follow the detailed stuff, then DO NOT attempt to do anything with ur psp except play umds and MAYBE put mp3s and pictures and videos.

because if u dont know EVERYTHING behind what u are doing, u will eventually pay for it.
