I've recently had a problem with adding new Homebrew stuff to my PSP. All homebrew programs I've had on my PSP for a while run perfectly fine, PSX games work fine too. But when I try to play new homebrew programs (ones I put on) my PSP freezes right after the PSP boot screen (and resets if SCE logo is turned on).
This even happens with custom firmware upgrades and the recovery eboot.
As stated this problem only affects new homebrew programs I try to add, including updates.

I need some serious help, I can't even downgrade back to 1.50
Pleeeeeease ._.

Check the kernel setting in recovery menu. If you use the GAME folder it needs to be set to 1.50.
And maybe the newer homebrew doesn't run on 1.50 kernel, so put them in a different folder.

Like I said in the title of this topic, I have made sure the kernal is 1.50. The homebrew I put on my PSP are older (chronologically created) than the ones I kept on my PSP.
Because I'm not very good at explaining <_<;; Here's an example: I tried to put on a homebrew program that I have been able to run in the past, and it doesn't work.
I've tried putting them in the GAME150 folder too, Didn't work. I'm not sure what else to do, I can't even change firmware via recovery menu.
I think it may have something to do with when I updated my PSP, all the homebrew I had prior 3.40 OE works, but nothing I try to add does.

Oh please dear God help, I can't even change to another firmware using the recovery menu.

I think it may have been this way since I updated to 3.40 OE. It may have something to do with the flash files, does anyone have a backup?
